E3 Marks Beginning of PSP Software Onslaught

The PSP has become a very hot subject, as of late.  With a brand new PSP set to be announced at E3, and a sudden surge of publisher support, it would be difficult not to take notice.

Starting in June, the PSP’s library will be set to explode with quality titles, the first being Rock Band: Unplugged, and then Monster Hunter Unite.  From there on, each month is going to be packed with third party support, such as Madden 2010, Final Fantasy: Dissidia, Assassin’s Creed, Dante’s Inferno, along with the recently announced Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, and Tekken 6.

Just looking at the titles above would signify a great year for the PSP. But we haven’t even touched the first party studios, who tend to create the best games in the PSP’s lineup.  SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3, Motorstorm: Arctic Edge, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, PixelJunk Monsters are all expected, with a PSP version of LittleBigPlanet topping the list!

More games are sure to be announced at E3, which will only further add to the phenomenal lineup we are getting.  This E3 might just be the biggest E3 yet for the PSP, and maybe even Sony.
