Responding to questions posed by fans, Ubisoft has revealed a startling fact that should please all fans of their upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed 2.

“We have greatly increased the scope of the game since the first instalment of Assassin’s Creed, so just completing the core of the game will be longer than the 20 hours it took in the first game.”

Ubisoft then went on to say:

“Moreover, we have developed several different optional gameplay that will add a lot of depth to the whole experience and will also extend your gameplay time in a very significant and meaningful way. As for the exact number of hours it will require it’s still too early to say!”

This is great news, considering the overwhelming criticism of the first game was the lack of variety, and how short the experience was. Assassin’s Creed 2 is set to hit the PS3 November 17th. Be sure to stick with PlayStation LifeStyle as we keep you up-to-date on Assassin’s Creed 2.
