God of War Casting Reveals Godly New Characters

September 6, 2009Written by Dan Massi

God of War, and its sequel God of War II, provided a handful of mythical roles for voice actors to take advantage of. And even more are due to make in appearance in God of War III, including a Call of Duty veteran.

The first is Deimos, the son of Ares, and the God of Dread. He will be voiced by by fight director and actor Mark Deklin (who appeared in Call of Duty 3 ). Next up is Hera, the elder sister and wife of Zeus, Ares’ mother, and the Goddess of Women. She will be voiced by Adrienne Barbeau, best known for her role as Catwoman on Batman: The Animated Series. The final character here is not a god, but is incredibly interesting nonetheless.

Known for her dangerous aparatus, as well as  assisting Kratos in defeating Ares, Pandora is making an appearance in God of War III. She will be voiced by Natalie Lander, who has played a handful of video game characters before.
