Since being announced, 3D Dot Game Heroes has generated a lot of buzz around the internet. The game, set in a kingdom whose King has turned everything 3D, has a very unique art style to the game. The debut trailer delves a bit into the backstory, puzzles, combat and bears a very striking resemblance to the Legend of Zelda. Even the song playing during the trailer has a very zelda sound to it.

3D Dot Game Heroes is set for release in Japan on November 5th. No word yet on to whether this game will come stateside, but we’ll let you know if the game is scheduled for a more global release.
