Without a doubt the most rumored subject on the PlayStation 3 is the future firmware features. Some long sought after features that came to be include in game XMB and XMB trophies. Today some photos have come to light that indicate the XMB will get some further retooling with the addition of some customization features as well enhanced community features.

Gaming website ScrawlFX today revealed what seems to be legitimate renders of features that can be expected in the PS3’s next firmware update. These images show in detail a native Facebook application icon, gamercard color options, and what appears to be a new photo view. The shots are said to be taken from the PlayStation website itself, yet they are missing at the time of publishing.
