Among the titles of 2009, Insomniac Game’s Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time was one of the most anticipated. The title was the finale of the Future trilogy, coming after Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty. However, as anticipated as the title was by Sony fans, A Crack in Time failed to crack the top 10 in sales.

Yesterday, PlayStation LifeStyle showed it’s readers the results of the November NPD sales report. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, released October 27th 2009, failed to make the Top 10 in software. Among the Top 10 were multiplatform PS3 titles such as Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin’s Creed II.

Unfortunately, A Crack in Time even failed to reach the Top 20 for November. The title had three days in the month of October, while it had the full month of November to increase it’s numbers? What happened? Post your thoughts and opinions below!
