I Am Alive is now under the helm of Ubisoft Shanghai. They have taken over from the previously mentioned Darkworks. With this developer shift it also has resulted in a complete overhaul of the game itself. The most notable change will be the in game engine itself. It will now feature use of the Splinter Cell engine. Due to all the changes the game has been delayed until 2011 at the earliest.
