PlayStation Home to Get a Lot More ‘Social’

PlayStation Home has always been a social experience. PlayStation 3 owners meet up in Home to do everything from chatting to dancing to planning a few rounds of their favorite game. Soon, you’ll be able to communicate with your social networks right from the comfort of PlayStation 3’s very own Home.

Speaking today at GDC, Sony told a room filled with developers that tools are now available that will allow users to update their Twitter and Facebook accounts with the accomplishments they’ve achieved in PlayStation Home. Once you’ve achieved something specific set by the developer, such as a high score, you would be able to have that announced upon your Twitter timeline or your Facebook wall.

Sounds like a great way to further PlayStation Home’s social networking ambitions, but would you really use it? Chime on in below in the comments section.
