It has long been rumored that the White Knight Chronicles series would actually span three games, giving it that very Chronicle type feel to it. Well it looks like that is not the case as Director Kusuda Yoshiaki of Level 5 has shot down the idea of a third game on his twitter account, saying that the story will end with the second game.
Seeing as the 2nd game has yet to come out and who knows what the sales will be like, I find it hard to believe that this is set in stone and if game sales do great that a 3rd game couldn’t be in the works. White Knight Chronicles 2 is set for release this July in Japan and sometime later everywhere else.
