Deus Ex: Human Revolution, also known as Deus Ex 3 by many, will be the third installment in the popular FPS/role-playing game series. Square Enix Montreal has confirmed how long the game’s campaign mode will last.

Speaking to NowGamer, Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s Producer, David Anfossi, said the game would last around 20 hours:

The duration of the game is roughly 20 hours – only on the critical path. In a first-person type of game you don’t really see that very often.

Indeed we don’t.

Anfossi goes on to talk about the game more when asked if a new generation of deep, action RPGs could be created with the latest Deus Ex installment:

We’re trying to have this cinematic feeling to it, and we’re trying to work on what the characters are going through, their emotions and what motivates them to move forward. I think if it’s done well, it’s going to inspire other people.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is currently scheduled for a release this year. The game’s screenshots were recently released.
