Sony Santa Monica employees are the brains behind the unforgettable Greek mythology series known as God of War. According to recent job listings, the world renowned studio is hiring at several positions.
Over on Gamasutra, Sony Santa Monica is hiring at several key positions within the company including Senior Combat Designer and even Game Design Manager. The office is naturally located in Santa Monica, California, and the requirements are high, but for good reason. Sony Santa Monica has consistently churned out memorable titles for the past decade, and with that comes high application requirements to hire only the best of the best.
Sony Santa Monica is obviously planning on working on a new title, and as stated in the recent past, the studio plans to work on something new. Several employees have mentioned that they want to explore other ideas and genres, so a God of War first-person shooter is probably out of the question. Could it be something more casual such as a Sony kart-racing game? Maybe it’ll be a new hardcore RPG similar to Demon’s Souls but with darker elements. The possibilities are endless with a team as capable as Santa Monica Studios.
