LBP2 Collector’s Edition Tops Charts in Less than 24 Hours

July 23, 2010 Written by Anthony Severino

It hasn’t even been available for 24 hours yet, and the blatantly magma hot LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector’s Edition has already topped on major online retailer’s bestsellers list. Even beating the likes of StarCraft II and other hot titles.

Although it was only announced just this morning, and shortly thereafter made available for pre-order, the Collector’s Edition of LittleBigPlanet 2 has topped Amazon.com’s video game bestsellers list.

What really makes this such a feat, isn’t just the fact the LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector’s Edition reached the top of the list within 24 hours, but because it’s beating out the incredibly anticipated StarCraft II for the PC, which releases in just days, and Red Dead Redemption for the PS3, which just so happens to be Amazon’s Deal of the Day and is selling for the low, low price of $43.

Not only is this Collector’s Edition topping the bestsellers list, it’s #1 on Amazon’s movers and shakers list as well, beating out the recently revealed Limited Edition Halo: Reach Xbox 360 Console Bundle.

That’s right, despite some serious competition LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector’s Edition has beat them all out, rising to the very top of Amazon’s bestseller list and movers and shakers list.

Since Collector’s Editions are normally very difficult to obtain on release day, coupled with the extremely high demand right off the bat, we highly recommend you head on over to Amazon now and pre-order your copy if you already haven’t.
