Ubisoft Has Ambitious Ideas For HAWX 3

Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy HAWX 2 hasn’t even been released yet, but already, the buzz about this jet-fighter sim is getting a lot of attention.  Ubisoft’s arcade fighter is already boasting massive improvements from its predecessor.  Meanwhile, some people in Ubisoft have already begun to spin ideas of more tweaks that they would want to see in a future installment of the HAWX series.

While speaking to Strategy Informer, content director Bogdan Bridinel is already anticipating to launch new and ambitious ideas if a “Go” is given for development on HAWX 3.

“A HAWX 3 isn’t in development, but I can say for myself that I do believe I have one in me.

“I don’t know if I’d have enough ideas for a 4th one, but for a 3rd one, at least, I have lots. I don’t know if it will happen, though. We’ll have to see how this one goes, first.”

Bridinel further stated that Microsoft’s and Sony’s motion peripherals had the potential to make an appearance in a next HAWX title.

“We’ll probably look into them (Kinect and Move) in the future, but we will also use them if we find something that makes sense for us. Head tracking with Kinnect (sic) could be one, but, as I said, we haven’t studied it yet.”

HAWX 2 is already looking to push its boundaries with newer game mechanics and an upgraded graphics engine since its previous installment – and from the screenshots that we’ve seen, we can confidently say that the fighter jets look impressive.  With these improvements, perhaps a third HAWX game will add even more icing on the cake for you jet jocks.

Get ready to start fueling up your fighters when HAWX 2 takes off this September 3rd.
