Call of Duty: Black Ops Gets First Multiplayer Trailer

The next Call of Duty title, Black Ops, is being developed by multi-million-selling Call of Duty: World at War developers Treyarch, who proved in World at War that they know a thing or two on how to make great multiplayer modes. Although details are still for the most part unknown Black Ops’ multiplayer, Activision has now released the first trailer showing off Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer in action, and simply put: it looks awesome.

Although it may strike a few similarities to Modern Warfare 2’s online multiplayer component, it’s still looking to be supreme quality. The trailer, which contains all sorts of new weapons and what not, can be viewed below:

Currently scheduled for a release on November 9th, Black Ops will portray a number of Cold War-era covert operations in countries such as Russia, Vietnam, and Cuba. The Treyarch-developed title represents new territory for the series, with the series having previously focused more towards World War II and modern-day settings.
