Over ten years have passed since the last Parasite Eve game, but thankfully Square Enix has announced that the upcoming The 3rd Birthday will be releasing in Japan this December.
The 3rd Birthday is now currently scheduled for a release on December 22nd, 2010 in Japan. The release date was confirmed at the end of a trailer of the PSP exclusive during Sony’s TGS presser.
Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto also confirmed that a costume of Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII will be added to the game in the form of downloadable content as a cross promotion between Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy and The 3rd Birthday. The RPG is still slated for a European 2011 release.
