In anticipation to this weekend’s New York Comic-Con Activision and Marvel have today announced a new X-Men game, entitled X-Men: Destiny, due to be released on “game consoles” in Fall 2011.
X-Men: Destiny “gives players unprecedented control of their fate.” The game casts players as new mutant recruits in a “rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice and gives players ultimate control of their destiny.” The game is being penned by Marvel X-Men: Legacy writer Mike Carey.
Attendees of New York Comic-Con, which is going on now through October 10th, can get a sneak peek of the game in Activision’s booth #1833. For more on X-Men: Destiny check out the game’s teaser website.
