Get a PS3 Free With This Holiday Sony Bravia 3DTV Deal

November 5, 2010 Written by Anthony Severino

A 3D TV may not be on everyone’s Christmas list. Not because they don’t want one, but because they can’t afford one. It’s just too expensive. Thanks to a special pre-holiday sale, it doesn’t have to be. A free PS3 added to the mix sure doesn’t hurt it any either.

Right now on, if you buy one of two select Sony Bravia Full HD 1080p 240Hz 3DTVs (both priced below $3000) you’ll get a free 160GB PS3. But what about those super expensive 3D Active Shutter glasses? Just like the PS3, those are free too. And a 3D transmitter. And a copy of (Tim Burton’s) Alice in Wonderland on 3D Blu-ray. Everything you need to get started watching movies and gaming in full 3D, right from the comfort of your own home.

You have your choice between the 46″ and 55″ Sony Bravia NX810 LED 3D HDTV, both of which feature built-in wireless N, Bravia internet videos and widgets (Hulu Plus just added), 240Hz Motionflow tech, and 4 HDMI inputs. Basically, this is one beast of a 3DTV. The NX810 model is listed at “3D Ready”, which means it still needs a 3D Transmitter, Active Shutter 3D Glasses, and a 3D video source, all of which are included for free as part of this amazing deal.

The Sony 3D Deluxe Starter kit, which normally retails for $399.99, includes the 3D Transmitter, 2 pairs of Sony’s Active Shutter 3D Glasses, a copy of Alice in Wonderland in 3D Blu-ray (the movie in 3D isn’t available in stores), and an HDMI cable for good measure. The 3D video source is the free PS3, ever since a couple of the most recent firmware update enabled both 3D gaming and 3D Blu-ray video playback.

The offer ends tomorrow night at 11:59PM on November 6, 2010 so be sure to act FAST to take advantage of this amazing holiday offer.
