Electronic Arts and Criterion Games’ latest NFS game, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, released to a tremendous critical reception and has been praised by gamers for its terrific gameplay. Just mere days after the game came out, EA has released the racers’ first downloadable content which is now up for grabs on the PlayStation Store.

The DLC comes in the form of two packs – both of which are timesaver packs. These unlock all the available cars in Hot Pursuit for the price of  $3.99. The cop cars, known as SCPD, as well as the regular vehicles both have timesaver packs. Something that many would say basically undermines any sense of accomplishment in the game but has the advantage of unlocking cars that many gamers may not have the skill or the time to unlock all the cars.
