What or Where is Next for Assassin’s Creed?

Yesterday we brought you news on how Assassin’s Creed, as a franchise, has shipped 20 million units, making it Ubisoft’s best-selling franchise of all time. Marketing chief, Geoffrey Sardin confirmed another Assassin’s Creed next holiday season, but with the last two games featuring Ezio and Renaissance Italy, we have to wonder where the series will go next…

Assassin’s Creed has traversed across Italy during the 15th and 16th century as well as the 21st. From Florence to Venice and most recently Rome, but it begs the question… what’s next? Besides the video games, Assassin’s Creed has also appeared in comics, book and live action movies, and this may be a key to where the next game will go.

“If you’ve read the comic books you will see that we took Assassin’s Creed to the USSR, or Caesar’s Rome – that’s a good example of what we could do in the coming years in the next video games.”

So with the game taking place not only in the past, but also the present day it begs the question where would be your ideal place to live the life as an Assassin?
