Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam Prepares the Mortar

For too long now, the Vietnam expansion pack for Battlefield Bad Company 2 has been teased and shown off, but without even a glimpse of a release date. We’ve seen the weapons and vehicles, we’ve heard the map names, but still no date. Well, if your a fan of vague release date’s then now would be a good time to quit reading, but if you like more concrete info then you’ve come to the right place.

Finally, nearly six months after it was announced we’ve been given the date of the Vietnam expansion. Hitting the PSN just in time for Christmas, you’ll be able to head into the jungles of Vietnam on December 20th. Costing a mere $15, you’ll be getting four new maps, new vehicles, and new weapons. Ultimately, not a bad stocking stuffer.

This wasn’t the only holiday treat EA has in store for Battlefield fans. Releasing on Dec 1st will be getting our hands on the VIP map pack 7. For the wonderful price of free, for those of us that bought the game new, you’ll be able to take the fight to the enemy on four new maps.

So what better way to celebrate the holiday’s then with 8 new maps plus a boat load of new weapons and vehicles for a grand total of $15, life is good if your a Battlefield fan.
