Atari has announced that they will be releasing the action RPG Venetica in North America on January 11th. While the game didn’t exactly win awards when it released for the PC in Europe, Atari is very upbeat and excited to be sharing this with North Americans early next year.
Bob Spellerberg, VP of Sales and Distribution at Atari had this to say about the game:
With breathtaking graphics and a rich and unique narrative, Venetica offers RPG fans an action-packed adventure into a dark and evil world.
Venetica takes place in Venice during the 16th century; players assume the role of Scarlet as they scour the city to rid the place of dangerous necromancers. The game features 3D map architecture as well as dynamic day and night cycles.
