Looks Like LittleBigPlanet 2 Won’t Have a 3D-inator

Sony recently announced that it has “over 50” titles being developed with 3D. Unfortunately, Media Molecule’s magnum opus won’t be one of them.

That’s right. Those of you that have 3D-enabled televisions won’t be seeing a 3D Sackboy any time soon, unless you buy a real doll. SCEA Marketing Manager Mark Valledor responded to a question over on the PlayStation Blog that solidly confirmed 3D support will not be in the game. “Sorry, no 3D this time around,” he said.

3D was definitely something that Media Molecule was experimenting with however. The effect was so “stunning” that watching all of the Sackpeople and building blocks looked like a pile of toys. Truly unbelievable. Guess we’ll just have to wait for Media Molecule to implement 3D on their next title. Which would be LittleBigPlanet 3D. You heard it here first folks.
