NeoGeo Classics Coming to PSN

December 7, 2010 Written by Cameron Teague

The library of classic games and consoles available for the PlayStation Network is growing at an exponential rate, and now gamers can add one more name to the long list. SNK Playmore has announced that it will be releasing a NeoGeo Station on the Japanese store where gamers can download a host of classics with 10 games available starting December 22nd in Japan.

The initial line-up looks a little something like this:

  • Fatal Fury (Garoudensetsu)
  • Metal Slug
  • The King of Fighters ’94
  • Samurai Spirits
  • Super Sidekicks (Tokuten-o)
  • Art of Fighting (Ryuuko no Ken)
  • ASO II Last Guardian
  • League Bowling
  • Baseball Stars Professional
  • Magician Lord

All titles will be sold separately for the PSP and PS3 with the latter being priced a little higher. The games will feature online play, replay modes, and downloadable manuals for the games. No word yet on seeing this outside of Japan though the official site for the classics does have links to European and US Sites that are currently not live, so that is a good sign.

Are there any games you would want to see added to the list and what do you think of the initial lineup? Let us know in the comments.
