Guillermo’s Insane Aims To Be A Trilogy

Famed Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo Del Toro recently announced his new and upcoming thriller at the VGA’s, Insane, which is being spearheaded by THQ and developed by Volition. Not much information has crept out except a few static images from the VGA trailer, but at least we can confirm that that Del Toro will be taking three swings with his creepy creation.

THQ has officially confirmed that Del Toro’s supposedly Lovecraftian action-role-playing game will be made into a trilogy, the first of which is due out at an unannounced date in 2013.

Del Toro also shared some insights as to what players may expect to experience within his dark world.

With this new series of video games, I want to take players to a place they have never seen before, where every single action makes them question their own senses of morality and reality.

Guillermo will also be taking a lead role as creative director and will also work alongside a transmedia team for Insane’s production.

If you’re at all familiar with any of Del Toro’s work as a film director, his heavy involvement with Insane can only bring about amazing results. Stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for more details surrounding this mysterious horror title.
