New Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood DLC Sneaking onto the PSN Today

January 18, 2011 Written by Adam Wolfe

When Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood hit the PS3 late in 2010, it wasn’t much of a surprise that the single player was top-notch. What was a surprise, was just how entertaining the multiplayer turned out to be. Looking to keep their fans happy, Ubisoft is releasing a new DLC pack later today.

Titled “Animus Project Update 2.0“, this update will feature a new team-based multiplayer mode, Chest Capture, as well as a new map, Pienza. This new mode looks to be similar to capture the flag, but with the added Assassin’s Creed twist. If you were unsure about picking up this DLC, fear not since it’s releasing for free.

Check out the new mode in action below:

The DLC releases later today in the US, and tomorrow on the EU PSN Store.
