Shoot Many Robots Lives Up to Its Name

What’s better than destroying a robot? destroying many robots! Shoot Many Robots is an upcoming co-op RPG developed by Demiurge Studios. Demiurge Studios has spent a lot of time collaborating with other developers, from working on the art for the opening sequences of Bioshock, to helping Harmonix with various Rock Band games. Demiurge Studios has decided to make a game of their very own.

Demiurge Studios released several screenshots, and the first gameplay trailer for Shoot Many Robots. The game is set to be a downloadable title, but Demiurge Studios hasn’t announced which platforms it will release on. Albert Reed, co-founder and studio director at Demiurge Studios, had this to say about the game:

After nine years of working on truly awesome IPs with our favorite developers and publishers, we’re thrilled to be stepping out of the shadows with an original property of our own. Shoot Many Robots is the dream game we’ve always wanted to make: a 4-player co-op action-RPG with tons of loot and great innovation on beloved run-and-gun game play. Our team created a vibrant, unique style for the game that’s beautifully rendered by Demiurge’s new game engine. Building a ‘Robot Murder Simulator’ has been a blast for us, and we can’t wait to get it into gamers’ hands.

Loot? Robots? Murder? That’s all I need to know about the game.
