BlazBlue Continuum Shift II Holds Your Hand This May, New Trailer

April 19, 2011 Written by Heath Hindman

Publisher Aksys Games has announced that the Arc System Works fighting game BlazBlue Continuum Shift II for Sony PSP and Nintendo 3DS will be shipping to North American retail stores on May 31.

In addition to featuring ad-hoc and network play supporting up to four players, the game will feature two new game modes called “Legion 1.5 Mode” and “Abyss Mode.” Aksys only gave brief descriptions of these two modes, saying that the former is all about creating an army while the latter revolves around character upgrades in an effort “to reach the bottom.” Could this be some kind of dungeon-crawl? That’s just a guess. Other modifications include a rebalanced roster and a new story mode, among other tweaks. Aksys has shared the following trailer:

BlazBlue Continuum Shift II has not yet received an official price but has been given its rating of Teen for its “Blood, Language, Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes, and Violence.”
