High Moon Studios and Activision have released new screenshots of the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Along with the screenshots comes the official box art for the game. In the screens we get a great look at, of course, our favorite robot friends, and we get another view of Soundwave’s loyal cassette (remember those?) tape, Lazerbeak.
Transformers: DOTM is a prologue to the movie of the same name that is soon to be released in theaters, and tells an original story of the epic battles that pave the way for the movie. The game features all the things you would want from a Transformers game and adds a brand new gameplay mechanic called Stealth Force. In this mode, players will be able to transform from robot or car to a third, hybrid state combining the firepower of robot mode with the agility of vehicle mode. The game will again feature online multiplayer and will place gamers in the role of a specific robot each mission, instead of giving you multiple ones to control each mission like the past game.
