Final Fantasy VI Marches its Army to the PlayStation 3

When it comes to role-playing games, nobody does it better than Final Fantasy, or at least sales numbers indicate such. There have now been dozens of releases in the franchise, several of which have garnered massive critical acclaim. While Final Fantasy VII has managed the bulk of attention, many RPG veterans would argue that Final Fantasy VI (originally known as FF III in the U.S) is the most unforgettable of the series. Now that remarkable experience has found its way to the PlayStation 3.

Final Fantasy VI has officially arrived on the European PlayStation Store. Key word: European. No other territories have received the legendary game on their store quite yet, but they will likely follow suit. The game is currently available for the price of £7.99 / €9.99, which equates to about $13-$14 U.S Dollars, and can be played on both the PS3 and PSP.

It is worth noting that this is the 1999 re-release which arrived on the PlayStation One, and not the antiqued original, which means it includes FMVs, a gallery, and more.
