Namco Bandai will be bringing popular Japanese animation and comic franchise Saint Seiya to the PlayStation 3 later this year, with Saint Seiya Senki. While not confirmed for North America, it will at least be available in the English language, as Namco Bandai Europe has confirmed a 2012 release, under the moniker of Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle.

The black and white text can be translated as follows. Don’t be too hard on me here, I’m just firing from the hip:

“Watch me move at the speed of light!”
“An emotional piece of work.”
“A series that sends chills down your friggin’ spine.”
“Dreams can become reality.”
“Is their battle over?”
“Have they lost the will to fight?”
“NO!”
“The cosmos still burns!”

Revealed in V-Jump Magazine, the announcement pages confirm the presence of series favorites Cygnus Hyoga, Andromeda Shun, Phoenix Ikki, Dragon Shiryu, and of course, Pegasus Seiya.

The game will arrive in Japan this fall and Europe some unspecified time next year.
