Sonic Generations Shows Love for Classic Gaming in Latest Screenshots

It’s been a while since we saw Sonic the Hedgehog and his colorful, charming¬†world, but that will change soon. This November SEGA is pushing to bring back the classic days of their best-selling series with Sonic Generations, something we’re seeing become more frequent lately (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter IV, etc). The game will include nine zones and several bosses from previous releases,¬†and each of them can be played in a classic 2D form or in 3D as we saw with Sonic Unleashed. Both offer very different experiences, and should satisfy both old and new audiences.

SEGA has supplied a vast amount of new screenshots for Sonic Generations, and you can view them below in our gallery:

A demo for Sonic Generations was available throughout June. If you had the chance to play the demo, let us know what you thought in the comments below. If you missed it, be sure to read our E3 impressions article.
