Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time isn’t venturing too far from the beaten path when it comes to cutscenes, sticking close to what has made the series great over the years. At the San Diego Comic Con this past week, a small clip was released which showcases a cutscene for the upcoming game.
In the clip we see that cutscenes will be played out with Sly narrating over the cutscene and briefing the player about what is going on. This particular scene focuses on El Jefe, a ruthless mercenary and military strategist voiced by Nolan North, and one of the game’s antagonists. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is in development by Sanzaru Games and will be releasing exclusively for the PlayStation 3 in 2012. The game received a great reception when it was announced at E3 this year and looks to bring that quirky, fun gameplay to PS3 owners everywhere next year.
