According to a listing on the British Board of Film Classification, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption will be receiving a Game of the Year Edition. The post – which has now been removed – indicated a September 16th release date as well as confirmation that the highly regarded DLC pack Undead Nightmare will be included on the disc.
As for the rest of Redemption’s extra DLC, there’s no word yet as to whether or not these other batches of add-on content will make it into the GOTY package. Also, don’t forget that Rockstar will be treating gamers to one final pack of downloadable content come September free of charge. The pack, titled Myths & Mavericks will bring new multiplayer maps and characters to the game.
Red Dead Redemption was hands-down one of the best titles of last year. If you missed out on this open-world Western classic the first time around, do yourself a favor and pick up the GOTY Edition when it launches this September.
