Nolan North to Voice the Penguin in Arkham City

August 5, 2011 Written by Alex Osborn

It looks like voice acting superstar Nolan North will be lending his talents to Rocksteady as the voice of the Penguin. Most notably recognized for his work on the Uncharted series as Nathan Drake, North has been in a number of other games including Assassins Creed as Desmond Miles, Portal 2 as a Space Core and SOCOM 4 as Gorman.

In an interview with CVG, Dax Ginn from Rocksteady confirmed Nolan’s involvement in the Arkham City. While this character is a bit different than the adventuring heroes he normally plays, the Penguin’s character is full of humor, something that Nolan North is quite adept at conveying vocally. If you haven’t already seen the Penguin’s reveal video, check it out below and try and see if you can hear a little bit of Nathan Drake in the villain’s voice.

With such a star-studded cast of characters and voice actors, Batman: Arkham City is sure to be a blast when it launches this October.
