Several months ago, rumors regarding an Elevator Action reboot began circulating the web after a PlayStation 3 game titled Elevation Action Deluxe was spotted on ratings boards. Now, Square Enix has finally confirmed the existence of this title by launching a teaser site for the game.
For those who aren’t familiar with it, Elevator Action was birthed during the “Golden Age of Arcade Games” way back in 1983. In the game, the player controls a spy who is tasked with making his way through a building without getting caught. In addition, there are a number of documents that must be collected along the way as opposing agents attempt to hunt you down.
While Square Enix has yet to confirm whether this is a full-fledged reboot or simply a spruced-up port, a title like this would fit well alongside the rest of PlayStation Network’s bite-sized titles. Expect more information in the coming days.
