Deus Ex: Human Revolution received a lot of hype leading up to its release, but Eidos Montreal managed to live up to people’s expectations, causing gamers everywhere to answer with their wallets.

Square Enix has announced that the game, which released just over two weeks ago, has already shipped 2 million copies in both North America and Europe. These are great numbers which look to improve when the game releases in Japan this October. You can see just how much we loved the game by checking out our review.

Square Enix has also announced the game’s first downloable add-on: The Missing Link, which will have Adam Jensen kidnapped on a ship with his augmentations disabled. Now he must make his way out while uncovering a whole new level of conspiracy. This new DLC will be available in October and will feature new characters and a chance to rebuild Adam’s augmentation from scratch. Check out the trailer and screenshots below for this DLC add-on.
