Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny Digs up Gold

Publisher Natsume has announced today that Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, from developer Marvelous Entertainment, has gone gold in the States for both the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii. The game released in Japan back on the 24th of February under the name Rune Factory: Oceans and was originally slated to be released next Tuesday, but got delayed until October due to production difficulties.

Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume had the following to say in the press release:

We’re very excited that owners of both Nintendo and Sony consoles will be able to experience this thrilling new chapter in the Rune Factory saga. Players will explore exotic islands, meet unique new characters, and solve the mystery that has befallen our heroes!

In Tides of Destiny you will take control of Aden and Sonja, two friends stuck in the same body by an old and mysterious curse. After their home disappears, the two must take to the ocean to save their island, with the help of a giant golem named Ymir.

Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny is set to release this October 11th for the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
