Capcom Announces Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection For PlayStation 3

Fresh from releasing Resident Evil 4 HD and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD on the PSN last month, Capcom has announced that they will be bringing two more games for the system.

At the Resident Evil 15th anniversary event in Japan, it was announced that Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles will come to PS3 as a bundle called Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection. The two on-rails shooters were formerly released for Nintendo Wii console. Pricing and release dates are unknown at the moment.

Besides the High Def graphics, the games will also feature PS Move support. We have seen how precise the PS Move can be in games such as Dead Space: Extraction and House of The Dead Overkill – Extended Cut, so the games should definitely benefit from the better motion controls.

Capcom has yet to announce whether this port will make it to the stateside or not, but, if so, this is exciting news for Move owners in need of something new to play with.

Happy Halloween folks!
