Five years ago on this day, the PlayStation 3 released in Japan, marking Sony’s entry into the next generation.
The PS3’s fifth birthday is on November 17th in the US, and March 23rd 2012 in Europe. We’re all having cake here at PSLS, and have a bunch of great features planned between the Japanese and US birthday to mark the anniversary of the console that this site has covered so extensively.
