The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Wins VGA Game of the Year

2011 has been one heck of a ride. It will go down in history as having an extraordinary amount of high-quality titles ranging from Bethesda’s latest addicting creation, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, to another highly-polished title from the talented developers over at Naughty Dog with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. But it’s called the Game of the year award, not the Games of the Year, so only one could emerge victorious.

After plenty of commotion, the SpikeTV VGAs have declared The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as the best game of 2011. The title earned a perfect score from us, and will surely be remembered as an iconic title of this generation for its great story, deeply engrossing atmosphere, and spot-on gameplay.
