Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning’s Online Pass Required To Access Seven Quests
The single player content Online Pass was recently seen in GOTY contender Batman: Arkham City and now seems to have been included with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
Destructoid reports that in their review copy of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an online pass for that enables access to the House of Valor faction quest, which contains seven single player quests. The pass also unlocks access to armor inspired by Commander Shepard’s N7 armor. The singleplayer online pass is yet another step by publishers to curb the loss of potential sales from the second hand games industry.
On a side note, a demo for KOA:R is available now and unlocks the following items in the full game: an ice resistance booster Twist of Fate card, The Twinned Souls Chakram (which boosts health and mana), and The Infernal Helm helmet (available after tutorial completion).
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will release February 7th for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
