LittleBigPlanet User-Generated Content Surpasses 6 Million

Sony’s LittleBigPlanet franchise has reached a landmark achievement, as the series has just reached a whopping 6 million user-generated games and levels over the PlayStation Network.

Neil McPhillips, Associate Producer of XDev Studio Europe shared the exciting news via Europe’s PlayStation Blog:

Something magical recently happened in the world of LittleBigPlanet – thanks to our awesome community, the LBP franchise now has more than 6 million user-generated games and levels created by fans and uploaded online to the PlayStation Network! As always, we’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone contributing, whether you’re creating, sharing, or just playing.

Fans of the franchise will soon be able to control Sackboy on 5 inches of OLED awesomeness when LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation Vita launches later this year. The series is showing no signs of slowing down and this new portable version of the game will only propel the franchise to new heights.
