If you’ve seen the reveal trailer for The Last of Us , then you’re likely as excited as we are to find out more about this post-apocalyptic adventure. Fortunately, new details are not far off, as Game Informer will be revealing the first handful of in-game screenshots later today.
You may recall that while the debut trailer at last year’s Spike Video Game Awards ran on in-game assets, it didn’t feature any actual gameplay footage, so it will be interesting to see how Naughty Dog plans to bring this horrifying world to life.

The game is expected to release sometime in late 2012 or early 2013, so keep your fingers crossed for an earlier release. Additionally, be sure to check back here later today when the screenshots go live.
