We’re only a couple of weeks away from the launch of Mass Effect 3, so it should come as no surprise to hear that the game has finally gone gold.
BioWare’s Casey Hudson made the announcement earlier this week via Twitter, saying:
After an awesome effort by our team, I’m proud to announce #MassEffect3 is officially GOLD! Many surprises await you – this week and beyond.
Mass Effect 3 is panning out to be one of the biggest games of the year, with the end to the trilogy promising to deliver a satisfying conclusion that takes all of the choices you’ve made in the prior entries and ties it all in a nice bow.
Whether or not the game will satisfy these lofty expectations remains to be seen, but judging by the footage we’ve seen of it thus far in addition to the demo that will be available for gamers pre-launch, we’re pretty confident that Mass Effect 3 will deliver the conclusion everyone is hoping for.
