Sony Announces New Blue PSP For Japan

With the Vita’s selling at a snail’s pace in Japan, Sony is pulling out all the stops to make sure that their favorite handheld does well – the company has announced a new blue PSP.

The two-tone Sky Blue/Marine PSP 3000 will launch on April 26th for ¥17,800 (around $219), along with an included 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, a pouch and a cloth. The Vita, on the other hand, is currently only available in black, despite being shown in white before:

But good news may be on the horizon for the Vita, though, as a retailer has listed Monster Hunter for the platform, and Sony Japan is set to announce a bunch of new games for the new handheld.
