Warren Spector “Desperately” Wants Epic Mickey On PS3 & Xbox 360, The Power of Two Screenshots & Trailer Released

Last week, the first details for Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two were released, in addition to a reveal that the game would be arriving for PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. Epic Mickey creator Warren Spector doesn’t just want the sequel coming to HD consoles, though — he wants the Wii exclusive original on those platforms as well. Also, screenshots and a trailer for the game were released on the PS Blog.

Game Informer reports that during an interview at GDC, Spector was asked whether or not he wanted to bring the original Epic Mickey to PS3 and Xbox 360 while developing the game. He said:

I will tell you I desperately want to do it, and other than that I have no comment at this time. I just think it would be cool for people to see where the story started, so we’ll see.

We sold many millions of copies of [Epic Mickey] on just the Wii, and being on the Wii was great. It was a perfect way to reintroduce Mickey as a hero in video games.
