Namco Bandai: “We Have the Best Portfolio of RPG Titles”

The guys over at Namco Bandai aren’t playing around. The publisher has got a killer lineup of compelling role-playing titles scheduled for release over the next twelve months and is proud of it.

Speaking to VG247 in a recent interview, UK marketing boss Lee Kirton expressed his confidence in the stellar lineup of RPGs that they have on the horizon, making it clear that Namco Bandai is looking to dominate the genre. With Level-5’s gorgeous game Ni No Kuni coming early next year, as well as new installments in the Tales series and a PC version of Dark Souls set to launch by year’s end, the publisher definitely has a lot to be proud of.

We have the best portfolio of RPG titles and unique style.

Dark Souls has just been announced on PC, we are still working on the 360/PS3 title and we have the excellent ‘Tales of’ series and I hope the surprises will just keep coming.

He went on to praise Studio Ghibli for their incredible visual work on Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, saying:

It’s great to have such strong RPGs to work on and titles such as Ni No Kuni and Tales of prove we are top of our game on the anime RPG sector as well. Ni No Kuni is one hell of a beautiful game.
