New Teaser Image from Activision Hints at Future Setting for Next Call of Duty

Details for the next Call of Duty title aren’t set to be revealed until May 1st, but that hasn’t stopped Activision from teasing its fans with hints at what might be coming.

If you head over the the franchise’s main site, you’ll notice a new teaser image has been unveiled on the home page, showcasing a futuristic drone. Clicking on the image will redirect you to a YouTube video explaining exactly what the thing is.

According to the clip, this piece of machinery is known as a “quadrotor RC attack drone” and is currently in prototype form. Apparently, we’re still at least a decade away from this type of technology, implying that the next major Call of Duty title will likely be set in the not too distant future.
