After last year’s announcement of Platinum Games taking the reigns of then-called Metal Gear Solid: Rising, and rebranding the game as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, details on the game have been harder to spot than a cyborg Ninja. But at last night’s Konami Pre-E3 press conference, they let the Raiden pull his sword out of his sheath and spill not only blood, but the beans on the game.
At the end of the lengthy trailer showing plenty of gameplay, gore, and storyline, Konami revealed that the game would be arriving in early 2013. Later in the conference, Konami let loose that a demo for Metal Gear Rising would be included in the Zone of the Enders HD Collection, coming later this year. Also, the game will be playable on the E3 show floor, so we’ll have a full preview of the game’s progress in less than one week.
