With this year’s E3 being a little thin on big reveals, it’s clear that a lot of publishers are focusing on the next generation. To give you a glimpse as what’s in store, Square Enix has released an incredible-looking Final Fantasy video.

The video, titled Agni’s Philosophy, was produced with the Luminous Studio engine, which is meant to create next generation quality games. With the engine, the demo can depict high quality real time graphics that look pre-rendered computer graphics.
It’s important to note that the video is only a concept one, but with the engine planned for next gen consoles, it’s likely Square is aiming to make the Luminous engine work like this on the PS4 and 720. Now how much would a Final Fantasy VII remake cost with that engine?
